Bernie, a curmudgeonly widower, tries to teach his arrogant billionaire son, Murray, a lesson when he rejects an offer to move into Murray's gaudy mansion. Instead, Bernie checks himself into a rundown senior home, where the misfit residents show him that he may be the one who’s got some learning to do.
