Kim and Leo are still in love—at least, they think they are. But lately, their relationship feels like a house with a door left slightly ajar. In a moment of impulsive desperation, Kim orders a spell kit from a peculiar Etsy seller, hoping for a whimsical distraction, a little shake-up to their routine. Instead, the spell goes terribly wrong—or perhaps exactly right—ripping open reality and hurling them into The Other Place, a shifting, dreamlike dimension where time loops, memories bleed into the present, and the only way out is to face what they’ve been running from.

At first, they fumble to escape, but then Shadow appears. An eerie, faceless figure that knows them better than they know themselves, Shadow forces them to relive their most painful regrets, whispering truths they’ve tried to forget. Why does Leo flinch at the mention of his father? Why does Kim always keep one foot out the door?

As The Other Place bends and warps around them, Kim and Leo start to wonder: is this place punishing them, or is it saving them? With Samantha, the cryptic Etsy seller, nudging them forward and Shadow looming closer, they must decide: do they return to the life they know and pretend they never saw the cracks, or step into the unknown and finally face what’s been pulling them apart?

Darkly funny, unsettlingly bizarre, Everything is Fine is a love story about the terrifying process of facing yourself—and the magic that happens when you do.
